The thing is when he was injured first time around they were saying 4-6 weeks then he was back after 3 and played the full 90 against Everton and Barcelona which seems a lot for someone who's back ahead of schedule from a injury.
Defiantly rested at the swamp Wednesday

I wouldn't play him against that lot anyway, he needs a rest.

Would be useful to have him on the bench for a 20 minute cameo if we need a goal.

Yeh, saw that CityWatch retweeted it. I hate him not playing but agree a rest will do him good. Need him fully fit and rested for Barca

Not worth the risk imo.

It's the least important competition & we have bigger more important games coming up very quickly.

We have to do our best, as it's the rags, but whichever side wins is actually going to handicap itself for the coming months & have a more difficult job in the other competitions.

Not worth making it even harder by risking injury.

I've not seen any punditry on our game yet but I feel that pass won't get the credit it deserves. From the high camera angle it looks an easy ball but from where KDB is, to see Gundogan's run is brilliant, to be able to slide the pass through the gap with the perfect weight for him to not have to change stride before finishing, is magic.
