Kevin De Bruyne - 2017/18 performances

Best player in the league by a distance. He's got so many levels to go up too.

Another performance which proves he can run the game from midfield. Never any doubt about his creative ability but he ran the game today, won back so much possession in the first half

World class.

Working extremely hard defensively and winning tackles, possession, etc.

If he can continue this form throughout the season which I think he will due to not having to play virtually every game like last season he'll be up there with Modric, Kroos, etc. the best midfielders in the world.

Slowly becoming a complete midfielder.

One of his finest performances for us today.

I feel like I'm cheating on Merlin but the prince is fast becoming our most influential player, actually probably already there. His quality is astounding!!

He's on another level at the moment. As others have said he seems to have upped the defensive side of his game now too, making him look a complete player.

Pep has turned Kev and Dave from the best 10s in the league to the best central mids in the league.

Last year silva impressed with his tackling, but this year kdb is on another level. His all around game is astounding.

Was thinking about this earlier, De Bruyne's new position under Pep makes me view him in the same mold as Toni Kroos but with a little more freedom to roam. I'd also say Kev is a better crosser. Either way, I truly think he's the best player in the league - easily the best playmaker
