Nothing major I don't think.

He had a tight hamstring by the looks if it at the end of Chelsea game, that's why he had to come off.

Belgium have already qualified haven't they? Surely just let him come back to City for a rest is the best option?

Belgium are still very much battling to be group seeds at the WC. They are currently 5th on the Fifa ranking, but there are a number of teams that could leapfrog them if they don't win both their matches. Only the top 7 countries are group seeds at the WC i believe.

Anyway, some interesting stats since his first season for City: Number of goals and assists against the traditional "top teams" and a list of chances created according to Sporza:
http://sporza.be/cm/sporza/voetbal/buitenland/Engeland/1.3077233

Only Firminho (6 goals, 5 assists) and Aguero (10 goals, 1 assist) are directly involved in more goals than De Bruyne (5 goals, 5 assists).
As far as "chances created" go, he is number one:

Kevin De Bruyne 60

Christian Eriksen 54
Mesut Özil 46
Silva, David 38
Roberto Firmino 34
Philippe Coutinho 32
Eden Hazard 31
James Milner 30
Alexis Sánchez 28
Adam Lallana 25

Apprently after the Chelsea game the whole team was chanting the KDB song around him in the changing room like mad men hahahaha

Didn't know where else to post this (it's not relevant to his 2017-2018 performance) but i thought some might find this interesting. It's an old youtube video of his first two full seasons as a pro footballer at Genk, aged 18 and 19, with some teriffic goals already:
