Without his injury he'd probably have done it in about 100, considering he had about 8 or 9 sub appearances making his way back and the other 10 apps he made in the PL last season were him miles off fitness.
I honestly think he would have done it in less than 100 if not for both major injuries.

Recycling my posts from 11 May 2019 (chicken-themed for the KFC lovers among us), when many of us were discussing if his injuries/fitness were going to hinder his contributions in the short- and long-term:

Before his recent injury he only got 6 assists and 1 goal in 449 minutes, a poultry return of a goal created every 64 minutes.

For reference, if he kept that fowl rate up, and played in every minute of every match we’ve had this season, he would have created 85 goals (assisting or scoring).

Ozil can be fantastic and a real creative machine when he can be bothered. He's not a great player like he used to be, but the guy that showed up from Real Madrid was a class act.
Doesn't dictate play either. He might get assists (or used to), but the game never ran through him like it does with Kev or Silva.

got his 50 assists record, but that was very quiet game from Kev. Just couldn't make a right pass for most of the game. For his usual standards, it was like he is on some kind of programmed delay.

If he stays fit he should easily break the assists record for a single season (20).
Current top ten assists in general reads very worryingly for the rest of the league.

we had three best assist players in centurion season. KDB, Silva and Sane. And Sterling was not much behind.
