It’s not his most high profile goal but my favourite KDB moment will always be be that left footer he scored at chelsea in Pep’s second season. Chelsea had won the league easily, Pep was being mocked and doubted. It was our first big game of the season and we went to SB and pressed the life out of them, totally bossed the game. I remember saying to my dad “This is the best City performance I’ve ever seen” fairly early on. It was our first proper introduction to the Pep way of playing and we kept missing chances until Kev put that screamer away.

He had run and won a game away against the champions and it represented an introduction to the world of Pep’s City. It marked the beginning of an era.
We totally outplayed the champions at SB where they very rarely lost. Kevs goal was brilliant, amazing we only won 1-0. Did we play in an all maroon strip?

Me too, was behind the goal as well. Knew it’d gone in as soon as he got the the ball back from Jesus.

I managed the game and the send off for kev, i cant cry yet but i was the closest i have been in months, i love him so much, kev, dave and the king being the best players ever to wear our colours

I would like to kick those who decided to not give him another year right up the fucking arse! We now have no players that can provide lke him

Thank you to the blues who stayed to see him off, those there were representing the rest of us who couldn't be there in person

Much love xx

Stayed until the end Kaz

You could have cut the emotion with a knife

My lads had GCSEs today but were adamant they stayed

They cried buckets enough for all those who couldn’t make it

Kaz - much as we all love the guy, were you watching last night???
Kev isn't the Kev of old, things just work that little bit too slow for him these days.
Personally I'd have hated to see him, potentially, get worse next season and end up being a bit part player.

Nearly everyone stayed including us. And even about 30 or 40 Bourmouth fans.

But, but, according the Scouse tw@ts on X/Tw@tter, he was going to sign for Liverpool. F*ck off you Scouse.....(fill in as appropriate)
