Kevin Keegan autobiography/City drinking culture

I think it was berkovich that was a bit of a coke head (allegedly).

He certainly looked like he was on something when he scored at home in a game v Crewe and proceeded to make (what looked like) cut throat gestures at fans in the North Stand!

Used to see Mark Kennedy in the Press club regularly. Weaver was in a couple of times too, no cocaine stories there in fairness though!
Met Heath, Quinn and Steve Bould in there on the lash too. Quinn is sound.

Remember the night outside the Press club and there was a fracas across the road. I went over to see what was going on and lo and behold it was Joey Barton being dragged away from a fight. He’d scored his first goal away to Bolton that afternoon I think. I picked up the paper on the Monday morning and saw his name on the front. Naturally I thought it was because of the fight I’d seen on the Saturday, but it turned out he’d stumped a cigar in Jamie Tandy’s eye the following night in town.

There was a lot of coke heads at city, seen 4 first team regulars snorting coke in a pub, not now am talking Keegan's era

I love Kevin Keegan.

Apart of me misses the days of us losing 3-4 one week and winning 5-2 the week after.
