I suspect it may affect him an awful lot commercially.

Reagardless of the politics as neutral cricket fan ..he is the greatest England batsman to have played (at least in the modern era) ..played a major role in the ashes over the years....lead them to a historic victory in India and even in the worst ashes series was by the far the best England batsman....cant seeing England going anywhere under Alistair Cook regardless of how a good a player he is

if he's a disruptive influence then get rid of him period, don't just make it a short term but the door's open if he "behaves", because 18 months down the line the same issues will arise.

If they've sat down, talked it through and aren't happy to have him around then he should not be selected again, simple as. The team needs to move on and build a group that will play for each other and support each other, not bicker like the last lot have done.
