It has to say it, laws and all that. I always check as best as possible. Most takeaways will have a sign on the door. Just my personal feelings on it. Meat is generally cheaper for a reason

Halal meat is only cheaper because people think there is something wrong with it and dont understand the process, they avoid it and places can't charge as much. It's very nice
