mates let's not get carried away...i like the statement too but basically it's our only card i think it's the last one we can play...if 31 arrives and we still have no deal for tevez i think we will accept milan's offer even if it's not what we would want. keep in mind the fine needs to be approved by the FA and if tevez comes back and trains we need to pay him all his wages and that clause about doubling his salary if we win the championship....it's really hurting us.One in all tevez is bad business either way but could mean ten times more trouble if we decide to prove a point and keep him

So we except an offer of a loan with an option to buy? It's not going to happen! Tevez will be back at city training or being fined if he stays in Argentina END OFF

What clause about doubling his salary? Any proof?

Beat me to it !
How can we pay someone whos had virtually no input,if we do win the League ?

bursting with pride for our Khaldoon! i thought i couldn't feel any better about the guy after he bagged his hat-trick in the charity game... but this broadside on Tevez, Kia and Galliani shows exactly what sort of stuff our chairman is made of!

what a strong message to send!

I'd be gobsmacked if the PL upheld his appeal, they would open a complete can of worms for any club if any future footballer wants to leave a club. He can just bugger off on holiday and continue to get paid until he forces the club to sell him.

It would be, potentially, a bigger hit on clubs than the Bosman ruling as a player could just walk out at any point in their contract. Even the rag supporters on the PL wouldn't want to open that box......

Then again, we are talking about the Premier League.........

Not heard from that fool Gordon Taylor recently, he soon shut his trap when he found out Carlos had gone back to Argentina.

If they do side with Carlos with the evidence we have read, I think a few blues might start to get that rioting malarkey back in fashion. Especially after recent events and getting constantly bummed by the press.
