Khaldoon interview

After all the Toure bullshit today i just watched part 2 and I just know after listening to Khaldoon that nothing will derail us.
What they've done and are going to do for our club is beyond my wildest, childhood dreams.

I loved his response to the question on FFP, succinct and really shows up UEFA for what they really are.

I do love him as a Chairman but someone needs to coach him on eradicating the endless 'erms' and 'ums'

Top class guy - occasional erms and ums we can forgive - as long as the project keeps growing

Fuck me that last part of your post is one of the most unreal things I've read on here ever.

Absolute masterpiece. Such a clever guy. The part about FFP is one of the best, most professional, yet hard hitting speeches I've heard him say. That grin on his face, fuck me I was grinning and smiling like a Cheshire Cat! The way he described UEFA's sanctions as a pinch was brilliant. I loved the line about in 6 years we will let football decide who had the right business model.

By far the most important person at the football club. I imagine he will be speaking to Yaya in the next 24 hours!

Just watched it, he's one cool twat. Just to think 12 years ago we had crappy facilities, crappy finances, crappy stadium and crappy players. Now we've got a world class stadium, world class facilities, world class players, world class management and finances. Also we've got 3 other football clubs under our name, maybe 4 if the Shanghai rumours are true. Actually you look back 6 years ago, we only had a stadium which was of any worth.

Love the bit where he says we will break even next year and make a profit they year after. I always thought we'd be a bit like Chelsea with getting money pumped into us every year but it looks like we're actually going to make our own money. From our point of view, we don't really know how we're going to look in another 6 years. Khaldoon and the management will have targets to reach by 2020 and I don't think these people know how to fail. It's scary that this is really only just the beginning.
