Khaldoons End of Season Interview

Yes you can. Success on the field in no way has to come at the expense of ignoring the fans. The globalist approach of CFG and treating your 37,000 season ticket holders at the biggest part of that global organisation as valued customers, are definitely not mutually exclusive.

Is our ticketing better than it's even been? Is the communication with the fans better than it's ever been. Let's be honest here. Soriano does not give one single solitary fuck about us, apart from wondering how much more cash he can squeeze out of us. He killed Points of Blue and was most reluctant to set up City Matters, which he only did because he was forced to by the PL and Parliament.

Then Khaldoon comes along and says how great you all are ns most of you go gooey eyed and weak at the knees, despite all the evidence that the club never, ever, sticks up for us. We may have one of the most supine fan bases there is.

We have become very successful so it's no surprise we have a fair share of sycophants. It's the same every year with the interview. Its like a bloody one direction concert:-)

My view is they have have a plan and are carrying it out very well. Owners and the suits really don't care about fans so some of the cap doffing is embarrassing.

I will say however that we could have got owners that are pretty useless in which case we wouldn't have had the success.

There’s a guy called Lee Gunner
Very complimentary about how we conduct our business as a club

He's realised he gets more clicks when he talks positively about City, than when he does arsenal clips. Blues smashing that like button.

As a FOC and having watched my beloved Blues since 1964 I can say in all honesty that I don`t give a fuck what happens behind the scenes.
My love is all about those lads who take to the pitch and constantly win for the fans. Our owner and the Board, with Pep at the helm have certainly far outweighed my expectations on the playing side.
Well done to one and all.
Having two heart Fiddly things done I'm with you, first game 67 will take this all day long :-)

Ah yes. The post police.

For the record, if for no other reason, I have some sympathy with the view of those, usually older, fans who are feeling a disconnect between the "legacy" fans and the management.

It is possible to enjoy the success and everything the owners have brought, whilst at the same time being critical of the way the club is managed when a person thinks the situation warrants it.
Indeed, of course it is possible to enjoy… absolutely rejoice in… the success yet still be critical… even dismayed… with the distain a lot of fans feel we are held in.

Neither are even related to each other.

It’s like me in my job, or even my personality: I can do some things in my job really well and other things poorly; I can be a top lad most of them time but at times I do and say stupid things that only a **** would do and say.

Didn’t we reduce Liverpool’s ticket allocation for the game at the Etihad this season. That was a very enjoyable move. I’m happy to doff my cap to that.

I have been told so many times that my big problem is that I can see both sides of an argument!!
I can see both sides of this one as well as far as I am able.
As an FOC I see that the changes are moving us into the higher echelons is ‘society’ when I would prefer we don’t have change except in the players as they grow older but even then I want us to keep them close. I want Points of Blue and contact with the players etc still maintained.

As a fan though and a pragmatist I can see that the club have to move with the times and they need to make money for all the improvements they have made to the ground and the infrastructure etc.

The club, like the fans, are in a Catch 22 trap!

There is probably not a solution that is acceptable to both sides and unfortunately or fortunately as we are winning trebles we have to live with what the club decide. :-)

One thing I sincerely trust though is that we will continue our support for our fantastic team and our club. After all we are THE BEST TEAM IN THE LAND AND ALL THE WORLD.

I hope I haven’t offended anyone and if I have I apologise most sincerely. :-)

Judging from some posts on here about ticket prices, it is a good job these are now on sale in the club shop..."Green and Gold"
