Khaldoon's End of Season Review 2025

So basically if City don't win everything every year its a waste of time and we are crap.

Meanwhile back in the real world City have managed to qualify for the premier European competition for the 15th year running. Despite major injuries to at least half the squad. Plus a £350 million stadium upgrade and tying the manager down to a new 2 year deal...as well as our star striker signing for 9. Oh and the balloon dor winner missed 90% of the season through injury...reported break up of a 30 year marriage and all the stress that entails...115 charges from the jealous competition...loss of form for one or 2 who could be going through life problems...the director of football retiring...got to a cup final...etc.etc...multiple good things happening at City....but but...its not fair we didn't win...its my ball and I'm going home boo hoo.
Par for the course on here. It hasn’t gone the way some want, and so they slag off those who have brought the unthinkable.

Small minded
Very simple for those moaning, don't bloody watch it !

Didn’t think you were.

I’m a big fan of your work on here TBH.
TBH I do moan a bit too much. I won't lie. It's just frustration sometimes. I need to curb it. But in the same breath, I am really interested in what Khaldoon has to say about certain topics and issues effecting the club , Pep, the team, and the fans.like every City fan, I would love nothing more than City winning the 115 case. That in my opinion would be the greatest win ever.(off the pitch)

WTF is wrong with some of you people ??
Agree entirely.

For f*cks sake, I remember us having Swales in his broad check jacket, sta-prest action slacks and combover, pointing his rolled-up Saturday evening 'Pink' at Malcolm Allison after we'd been thrashed at home 0-4 by the Scouse Red Filth saying 'You know who could do a job for us..'

That was the f*cking level of management we had for generations.. clueless, all blazer badge and no trophies.

Since 2008 we've been blessed with 'grown ups' in charge in the room. Let them get on with it. They know what they're doing. They won't always get it right but, my stars!, they will 90% of the time. We are and we have been so fortunate for the past 17 years. And, for sure, there's yet more to come. So let Khaldoon et al crack on with the next phase..

What I'm saying is, I just wish Khaldoon would open up a bit more. Be a bit less guarded, states man, and politician like, which is 2nd nature to him.

I do accept that anything thing he says unguarded will be sized upon by the press, so he has to be careful and minded in what he says.

I suppose he can't win really.

Used to be the Football Green

I'll be honest as I always try to be.

I have no interest in the CFA.
I have no interest in the women's team.(even though I like them to do well)
I have no interest in CITC.(even though it's a great cause)
I expect a general overview of the season from him.
I expect him to be disappointed with this season like we all are, bar a CL place.
I expect him to give us some general transfer snippets, but nothing concrete. Which is fair and understandable. He is never going to reveal our transfer targets.
I would be interested if he mentioned the North stand expansion.
I would be really interested if he discussed some of the following issues. The fan protests. What he thought of them. Match day ticket prices. Why season ticket and ticket prices were frozen for next season. What he and the directors are going to do to make matches more affordable for our local fans and families. To grow our youth and future support. The new must attend 10 game rule. Etc. These things/issues and more are very important to the fans. We need to know what Khaldoon thinks about them.

I still can't imagine why you think Khaldoon gives a second's thought to detailed operational issues. It's not his job.

His job is to tell Soriano and his team of executives what Mansour expects and to redirect them if they aren't going in the right direction.

I suspect he has done that redirection this last season on fan engagement, but he isn't going to say that. What he does say will be interesting, hopefully, but it is how he says it that will be most important if it gives anything away about what is happening behind the scenes. If it does, it will be deliberate. But I doubt it will. He is too experienced to drop his executives in it unless it's done so subtly most people won't notice.

That combover is fucking ace.

Imagine if you had one now and brought it back into fashion.

You'd be a fanny magnet.

What lady could resist?

It's a general overview of the season on and off the pitch. That's what the videos are about.

I don't expect him to go in to detail about everything, there isn't enough time for that in the videos, but there's no reason he can't touch on important subjects and issues that effect the fans and interests the fans.

Stuck record. He should at least acknowledge the fan protests and discuss it. They have been a very, very important part of this season.

One week he's having dinner with the U.S. President and signing trade deals for hundreds of billions of dollars, the next he's sat there laughing at memes of Phil Thompson, what a bloke

Made me piss myself…..

Maybe he’s sat in meetings with Xi Jinping scrolling through twitter to see what Magic Hat has to say…

I've just watched the full video.

Khalddon is honest, positive, and slick. Why would he be any different? That's who he is in real life. That's his personality. He's obviously a clever person, as we know. He's articulate, polished, and very, very good in front of the camera. A statesman. A politician. A businessman. A City fan.

The positives. Kev, Pep, Erling, Rodri, Txiki, January transfers. The negatives. The season as a whole, bar the CL place, the men's team, the women's team, etc.

On to the next video. Outside of the management and the teams. It should be interesting.
