Its not a "tiny fraction" though.A tiny fraction of our season tickets are among the lowest priced in the league.
"but have the owners really promised something they've not delivered on?"
Yes, the very most initial promise in the open letter during the takeover to always do what's best for the club's supporters, and do right by them.
The vast increase in ticket prices we've seen since then, to the point where our match day ticket prices are more expensive than the rags, indicate a broken promise.
Likewise, the continued promises to respect the club's history, meanwhile every year club employees are giving the nod to Nike while they routinely churn out kits that absolutely disregard our heritage and identity, and have us turning out in kits that could only be less Manchester City if they were red.
It's obviously overwhelmingly positive given the progress the club's made, but those issues are central to most of the core support, central to the club's identity in fact, and they represent broken promises IMO.
They're very disappointing, in spite of every thing else, and they undoubtedly play a major role in the disillusionment and disconnect with the club that many blues have described recently.
Nah, I really don't think so mate. It hasn't been every year though, in fairness. This season's kit was a solid one, no complaints, likewise Nike's first effort where they played it safe.
But the 2014-15 kit was absolutely shocking as well, all sky blue with a Navy trim. First time in our entire history we'd worn a kit that hadn't contained any white whatsoever.
And then you have next season's, where do you even start?
I don`t ... oh fuck it,you know whats coming.Does RDOG ever have anything positive to say about City, because if he has Moses must have brought it down on one his fucking tablets.
Say what you like about the content, but fair play to Mr Khaldoon turning-up for 3 late nights on the trot all suited n booted just to make these "Queen's Speech" time broadcasts for us.
Nonsense. I get a couple of weeks out of a pair of boxers.Bet that shirt stank - same clothes for 3 days
City without Khaldoon has become pretty unimaginable.I do like Khaldoon. Straight down the line - no bullshit and no sugar coating. He summed up the season pretty well.
His disappointment with our performances in the CL Semis was genuine and he could have been someone on here with that assessment.
City without Khaldoon has become pretty unimaginable.
Agreed he's a great leader. If I have a small complaint at all it would be that I would like to hear from Sheikh Mansour now and then
I genuinely think you should give up on city or get some help. I have no idea what next season kit looks like. It is what it is. If you are skint get a 380 quid season ticket and bring a packed lunch. But stop moaning. We are about to spend 200 million quid and welcome pep. Be happy.
Brilliant presentation from Khaldoon and for me the stand out comment when asked about ownership of the club he replied -
" This is a subject matter that I can tell you, Sheikh Mansour's commitment is untouchable"
That's all I wanted to hear.
When he bought the club in 2008 , Sheikh Mansour wanted City to be the best in the world.
We now have the best manager in the world.
A training complex to rival anything in the world
Our turnover is now second highest in the League.
Champions of England twice now.
No debt whatsoever.
Progress in Europe to the Semi Finals.
Linked us into the largest growing football market in the world in China.
He has turned extreme losses into a profitable situation. Considering we are a small part of the Abu Dhabi operation his input has been phenomenal and exactly what he said it would be. Long may it continue.
You should see the outtakes - the camera zooms out and both Khaldoon and Bailey are wearing BLUE shorts.Bet that shirt stank - same clothes for 3 days
