Khaldoon's End Of Season Video Message To The Fans

A tiny fraction of our season tickets are among the lowest priced in the league. The average price that most will play is much, much more that that.

My season ticket has more or less doubled in price since 2008, and will be £800 with Platinum again this season in EL1.

The club has ensured they have token examples of great value for money so people like you can cite them to gloss over the bigger picture and trend which is one of vast increases across the board over a period of years.

You know things are bad when the rags have had their season tickets frozen for 5 years, and that the first time we get a freeze after years of consecutive annual increases it's celebrated as a great victory. Our basic Gold adult season tickets in the South Stand Lower are more expensive than the rags equivalent in the lower tier of the Streford end, they're almost a £100 more expensive if you go Platinum.

Our kit is a central part of the club's identity, all the club suits in the boardroom have to do is ensure there's some continuity with the club colours, and that our traditions are respected. That hasn't happened, and someone is routinely happily signing off these Coventry-esq kits from Nike.

There doesn't necessarily even need to be a dialog with the fans about the kit and club colours, it should just be a given what they are and what they aren't.

What's more, I find it a proper ****'s post for you to just plainly dismiss my comment as a moan, when like I said, the issues discussed therein represent a big part of the club's identity and future.

Truth be told. Your response was the moan, your nose put out of joint by someone with a contrary view you don't like. Bless.
Stop moaning!!!! There are two current facts of elite football life that you should just accept or take up another past time. Number one is overpriced tickets which is the bane of many but which is not likely to go away unless and until there is a big drop in demand. The second is changing strips. The old days when the shirt varied little from year to year is long gone. There is no way under the sun you can keep everybody happy when the style is changed. Personally I don't give a flying F*** what we tog out in as long as we perform well and win. Well on reflection any strip accept Rag Red!!

It is only a kit. We'll have a new one next year. Those saying it's not a Manchester City kit, not traditional, I agree with you, but it doesn't change the football on show, or the players wearing it, or the great owners we have.

In the grand scheme of things, the kit means nothing. That is my personal opinion. I won't lose any sleep over navy sleeves for a season. Change is part of football, and next season we'll have completely different kits which more people can moan about.

I don't post often here, I enjoy the debate but never really get too involved. But it's becoming easier for people to moan on here, there's always something to complain about. This is probably going to be the most exciting era in our history, and people are moaning about what the players are going to be wearing!

I appreciate that it doesn't stick to tradition, but ultimately it's a kit and while I won't be buying it, I'm certainly not questioning our owners about it.
Good post that.

All true, but I think people would be a lot more tolerant of this new shirt (even with the navy sleeves) if it was at least paired with white shorts and blue socks. This subject has been done to death on here, but I struggle to think of a single other Premier League club that doesn't use the same shirt, short, and sock colour combination every season, so there's no real reason for us to be treated any differently.

I wonder after the interview had concluded and Bailey left if he was given a look at the new kit and thought,"That's why they didn't want to show me before we did it!"

He is putting on weight though, isn't he? I can see a couple of chins there in a few years.
