Obviously this will mean an almost certain sale of at least one of their big players this summer
Safety in numbers!
The more that run it, the more it supposedly legitimises the story.
It propagates a myth, attempts to set agenda, ultimately, to try and conclude a self-fulfilling prophecy.
The Italian media is very much like our own, although they have to justify filling even more dead space on a daily basis.
City will keep their own counsel and powder dry until the time is right. When something emerges of note, it will because terms are in our favour.

-- Tue Dec 06, 2011 10:19 am --

Trust our club FFS.
City have told Joorabachian to try and find his cnut of a client a new club, simple as this.
He is running out of options and simply made a call to his 'friends' at Sky, who to be perfectly honest, don't originate news of their own, so are hardly going to turn down a freebie offer of seemingly legitimate info.
This gives him the mileage to keep Tevez in the news, and try to play teams off against each other, increase the pressure on City to accept lesser terms.
He used Sky's platform to introduce our name into supposed permission talks, when all along, he has permission to negotiate with who the fuck he wants.
We don't care outside of England. AC are more than happy to be linked, even when they don't know what our terms are.
Funny that, we have given permission for them to speak, without knowing our terms?
Go figure!
Corinthians and others still have as much chance as this AC one, so treat all as imposters until someone puts down a direct offer to our club.
This is my whole point. There is no need for breaking news of City giving AC Milan permission to speak with AC Milan.
He can speak to who the fuck he wants.
Joorabachian felt it was apt to leak this to SKY and Jim White, for a reason.
Milan have not spoken to City at any stage so far.
If a story emerges that City have granted permission for any club to speak TO TEVEZ, then you can assume that a deal may be on the verge of progression.
Until such a time, it is Kia spinning for all he is worth, to ramp pressure on City and play clubs off against each other.
