Drogba >>>>>>> Bayern

Tevez >>>>>>>. Inter

Drogba now wants Russia or PSG, mate. He wants the pay day next summer.

I honestly think a perfect storm has materialised that may prevent Tevez and a permanent move to Inter or another Italian club.

The Italian economy.

Inter need Tevez more than Milan, but as Mancio has stated previously, his club need to spend in other areas.

I still have a sneaky feeling Tevez will be involved as a makeweight in swap deal of some kind.

All parties would save face and it would be hard to put a definitive value on what it amounted too, all conjecture.

It now depends on how much we need to show proper cash on the books, maybe our stance will alter once our Champions League fate is decided.

Not what i'm hearing mate, Bayern are still very much on the radar, but we'll see?

I agree with you about Tevez being involved as a possible makeweight deal though.

Just quoting Drogba agent this morning bud. We all know agents tell the truth all the time!

To expand the debate, we are now at such a level, acceptable players in return, and who could afford to pay Tevez, can be counted on few fingers.

Any possibility of a player exchange involving Napoli Tolmie?

Lavezzi or Cavani perhaps?

I think Napoli would have to be in a monumental jam before they even considered selling Cavani. Lavezzi though might be more likely. So I think anyway.

Are we in a strong position Tolmie? Will we be hearing anything in the media regarding further disciplinary action or as has been suggested has the club reached an agreement of sorts with Herman?

I would hate to think we're still paying him and he's not even in the country or showing the slightest inclination of returning.

We are in our strongest position yet in this whole sorry mess. We have an acceptable figure in mind and won't compromise any further.

Sadly for Tevez, the anticipated rush of clubs have not bitten. Kia has attempted to play the Italian clubs against one another to flush out a permanent deal.

He is still being paid, minus bonus and image related rights (this brings down his basic significantly)

He will be fined the maximum in January, whether upon a sale or not and don't expect anything official to be made public until then.

Unless we get written assurances of a guaranteed sale at a set price, after a loan agreement, there's no deal.

City will have clear presentable evidence that his actions have not only affected his original transfer value, but also the opportunity for any sale.

He's fucked and Kia knows the clock is ticking and actually has to work for his ten per cent this time.

So he doesn't have us over a barrell as some would laughably try and have it?

Shocked, I really am.

I love the way you've quoted Tolmie as the real deal on inside info... yet when I was being called daft for stating several days ago that Tevez WAS still being paid by the club, and Tolmie then backed me up on it... yet you didn't quote his post then!

Selective memory. The last recourse of the failing argument!

Let's just see how this plays out.

I'll stand by my view that Tevez is only leaving for relative pennies or not at all.

Tevez knows we're desperate to off-load and his advisers also know that they can sit on their arses and still pick up £10m a year from us.

I'd cancel his contract and take my chances through the courts... but the fact that City have allowed him three weeks absence from work without taking any disciplinary action suggests they know that they need to get him and his advisers onside if we want a transfer fee.

Like I say, let's wait and see how this plays out. But if we get a fee of £25m I will publicly admit I was wrong. Will you do the same if he ends up going for "relative pennies"?

Not a selective memory at all. I never said he wasn't being paid you plank so there was no need for me to quote TH was there.

No failing argument is there then.

Edit: if I'm wrong I've no problem with admitting it, I've done it often enough (just not on Mancini and Hughes as I was bob on!)

loan in january and swap for ibrahimavic in summer
Ibra is already a proven Serie A scorer, there's no guarantee Tevez even manages to score 15 goals in that league.

Not to mention Ibra is likely a better player overall.

Italian teams are difficult to deal with, they seem to be smooth talkers and get players for cheap all the time.

That's your opinion, not the true state of affairs.

Read back your post and think. City are going to pay a negligible asset who has cost them thick end of £25m, without exploring legal ramifications?

City will not accept ANY LOAN DEAL without legally-binding assurances that a permanent deal is concluded.

Based on our valuation and Tevez's wages, is it any wonder the likes of AC want a loan or nothing.

For the record, AC have also made the same offer to Didier Drogba. They want a short-term fix to cover Cassano.

Drogba wants a permanent move.

We can't pay him to sit in the reserves, either, without him invoking UEFA articles to walk next summer for free.

Inter remain the only team not to reveal their hand and their cash flow isn't the best...

His and our choices are now limited, both of the Milan clubs no doubt want him, but they cant afford either his wages or a hefty transfer fee.

My tuppence worth is that he will leave for a much reduced fee in the next 2 transfer windows (15M max) or will indeed be used (much more likely) in a swop deal and dont rule out some surprises, thinking outside the box here!

All IMHO of course...

I read on twitter that the speculation from the Napoli president about city’s bunga bunga offer to Villarreal to 'throw' a game and win! has come via conversations with Kia is there no end to this man’s creativity ?

the saga has been on sky sports this morning.but does anyone know if any action has been taken/fines been dished out over hiim being awol all this time
