Kia in talk's with AC. (merged)

Re: Kia in talk's with AC.

Personally I think theres a lot more to this than meets the eye.
Perhaps City have given the green light for Kia to discuss with AC,a way forward, which suits both parties.
We know fuck all about any Transfer fees as of yet,so don`t lets get upset over this too much.
Seems a tad strange that all is quiet on the Western Front, ref any sort of "punishment" we may be looking at with his AWOL !!
Perhaps this is the best way,as long as we get what we regard as a suitable price.
I have every faith in Khaldoon and HH,to do what is the best for this Club and certainly not what is best for Kia and his client.
Has Tolm heard anything of late ??

It makes me so sick to think that twat is still in Argentina without the clubs permission and he is still being paid!! The whole thing is a farce
Do you seriously think he's being paid while AWOL ?
Oh sorry, you must know otherwise please do tell
I don't know anything, but I'll ask another couple of questions....

Do you think City are stupid ?
Would your employer pay you if you were absent for 3 weeks without permission ?

Of course we won't be paying him.

No I don't think city are stupid but I don't think they can just stop paying hi, we got told he had been fined 4 weeks wages, that got reduced to 2, which was also made public. I could be wrong here but we ain't heard anything for a couple of weeks now.
It's just my opinion of course but I still believe he's being paid.

Re: Kia in talk's with AC.

I am not bothered that Carlos is still in Argentina as as long as we are not paying him a penny in wages, while he is still staying their. Afterall if you did that without informing your bosses you would also be stopped your wages so the club should do the same to Carlos. So if the club did that we would save in the region of £1m per every 4 week period that he stays away. So over the length of his remaing contract that would be around £33m.

So the club should stop paying him and seek redress in the courts for loss of revenue on the sales of shirts bearing his name say around £10m, maybe that might bring him to his senses.

Re: Kia in talk's with AC.

This has gone too far for him to play for us again so we should just get the best deal we can & get shot ASAP. If we can get £20m for him then get rid. He's a poison that we don't need anywhere near the club.

Should maybe put a clause that if the next club make any profit from selling him on, then we get a large % of it.

Re: Kia in talk's with AC.

While it will be good to get rid of the twat I just hate how this is setting precedent for other players. If a player wants to leave a club in future but is told no all they have to do is fuck off out of the country and wait for an offer to come in. Tevez gets his own way if this deal goes ahead but I guess we'll just have to take it on the chin.

Theres probably a good reason if we are, sue him once hes gone?

Re: Kia in talk's with AC.

No chance that we are still paying him, it's all a very convenient situation that we allow him to stay in Argentina so that he's no longer a disruptive influence, whilst I'm sure there will be a private agreement that he doesn't pick up wages in the meantime.

You watch, he will miraculously be fit as a fiddle come Jan 1st, ready to renew his career at whichever club we have no doubt already reached agreement with.

Suits us as well as him, he ends up being the bad guy but we don't need to see him in Manchester ever again as a City player.

He'll be under strict rules to get fit and that will be part of the agreement for the reduced fee that we will accept to get shut.

This is why we aren't hearing anything on an official line from City.

Good riddance.
