kick Quinn out

Why are there so many paranoid, nutjob, over reacting conspiracy theorists on here, bonkers the lot of you.
Quinn obviously feels more affinity to Sunderland than us, get over it, I've never heard anything from him that suggests he has an agenda against us or has been possessed by aliens who also run Sky, United, Daily Mail, Mirror, The Sun and several radio broadcasters.

Unless anyone in the media bigs us up when we play shit, they are c***s - according to some on here.

What Quinn was coming out with last night for the first 20 minutes was far less than what I was shouting at the telly!. People must have had ear plugs in when he was willing us to score more after the first goal went in and we actually started to play decent football. He genuinely wanted us to get top spot and was as aghast as I was when MP went defensive when we just needed one bloody goal!

he was on the same flight as us to dublin this morning, he was happily having photos took with other blues, said city were great once silva scored, no idea what hes said on tv, oh and he confirmed that it was him who said "stupendous".

I've constantly laughed off the Quinn and Tyler paranoia on here, but I'm really starting to think that Quinn is going into our games, consciously or subconsciously, ready for us to lose. I've always believed that if he showed more excitement when the opposition scored, it was because an upset was more interesting to the neutral. But last night I'm afraid he disproved that. He was an embarrassment. I'm used to shit pundits, and he is one, but he said at one point "you have to say that city deserve this" in the exact manner of an English commentator when we are losing to the Germans, his emphasis late on about how city should never have gone two goals down, and his almost total refusal to acknowledge that city were playing a second string team lead me to think that he isn't just shit, it's worse. He's totally plugged into that mindset that we are Typical City who fuck things up, and that seems to be his 'angle', if not his preference.

He's still a city legend, and I really urge to you all not to embarrass yourselves by going with the delusion that a thread on here will somehow change or get rid of him. It won't. It's just another thread on another forum.

I don't know if City have pissed him off personally behind the scenes, or he doesn't like rich owners, he's over compensating or what, but you can put me down in the "Quinn is harsh on City" camp from now on.

I had an eye on SSNakesTV last night and Paul Walsh was 'doing' our game. You could see he was willing City on to do summat. He certainly wasn't scathing when we went two down. If you have a look at all the ex-players who get on the telly and radio - Walsh, Hinchcliffe, The Goat, Uwe, Paul D and Quinn - there is the most extraordinary difference in comment. The first five are wholly positive and you can tell they have an affinity with the club, and they are desperate for us to succeed. You would never think that Quinn was idolised by fans and some could be forgiven for thinking he ever played for us when you hear what he has to say. I don't particularly want to walk past posters with this fellow on and then hear the denigration that comes over the airwaves.

The man shouted "fantastic", rather loudly, when Milner scored the 3rd goal....

I am distinctly uncomfortable here. I just read up the thread and saw that post where the guy says that 'we should send the thread to the club and get Quinn kicked out of the Hall of Fame'.

Please be aware that I am not in any way associating myself with this codswallop or any of the other associated agenda lunacy ;-)

I saw Quinn play for us - More than deserves his place!!

Need to separate the player from the pundit.

I agree.

Needs his cards marking though for his "over-compensating".

I honestly didn't think he was that bad last night unlike the slimeball Tyler.
Quinn did have a pop at City in the first twenty or so but so did every blue on the planet. They were awful.
When City started to get a foothold in the game he called it, and repeatedly gave them credit for recovering from the start.
Tyler on the other hand is an embarrassment to the profession and should be only allowed to cover his beloved rags. Barely raised the tone of his voice for the Silva goal and failed to point out the offside nature of their goals (actually think he may have come out with "slightly offside " comment for their first. Ridiculous!

I still think that there is a lot of overreaction to Quinn's commentaries. I'd seen this thread - although only read a couple of posts - before I got to watch the game and was rather underwhelmed by the level of sinfulness in Quinn's comments. The devil even used the word "fantastic" after we took the lead!
