not read all the pages, have any blues spoke to the club and whats their response to the 6pm kick off
What response do you want them to give ? UEFA imposed the time on us because of TV coverage, nothing City could do about it.

Well did we think to complain or did we just shrug our shoulders ?

i'd like to think the club made strong representations that the ko times over the 2 legs be reversed so that the tie in Kiev would ko at 8pm local time and the tie in Manchester at 8pm UK time

It's the way the competition is scheduled to maximise TV coverage and entering it means accepting the schedules. If we get through to the QF and SF it's back to 8pm KOs.

It wouldn't matter a jot, these kick off times are arranged by UEFA for the TV, and its about sponsorship not the fan, not even the armchair one, thats why we also have the front three rows of seats closed, and no beer. UEFA dictate what happens.

A 6pm kickoff is a huge "fuck you" to the match going fan on a midweek night. It just goes to show that UEFA couldn't give a shit about the fan in the ground, they only care about TV revenue and viewing figures.

I'm lucky enough to work in Manchester City centre and be able to leave at a sensible time so I can make the match, there will be hundreds, no, thousands of others who live or work too far away from COMS to make it there for 6pm.

Is it just me with holidays? I booked half day Thursday. Finsih at 1 good gym session, bite to eat, pick up lad from nursey go to the ground. Nice easy day what's everyones problem?

Perhaps your not planning to go to the quarters and semi's away - or for a week in Dublin. Or perhaps you just get more holidays than most.

Everyone's holiday entitlement is different, just because you can book Thursday afternoon off work doesn't mean the guy who sits next to you at COMS can.
