Kiev crowd - shocker

Due to a critical structure change at work (and how many people have this kind of thing in the current climate, not just me I'm sure) we can't take hols at all in March or April so I just can't get there in time. Pulling a sickie wouldn't be very smart either.

If tickets had been £5 or £10 maybe would have taken a punt and then tried to make it to the ground to see at least half the match. Paying out £17.50 or more and unlikely to get there before quarter to seven, gutted to miss it but what a slap in the face. Been to every home game in Europe so far, been a bit of a special occasion each one with the different fans and so on.

Here the calls for City make a formal complaint but, I am sad to say, UEFA woudl not take one bit of notice. Maybe would even mark us down on the 'bad list'.
Nothing to do with your post....however, your location! Anti-Banoffee - how very dare you, it's the best cake/pie there is.

In which case, Sir, we shall have to fight at dawn.

The marriage of banana and toffee, whilst on paper a sound and appealing idea, has brought nothing but sickly sweet corruption to the dessert menu.

I fight for the truth, for the righteous path, and for the right to not have a dessert akin to cat vomit as a genuine food option.

Meanwhile...back on topic... 6pm start time bad.

Should a duel occur I am willing to be your second and hold your satin lined morning jacket and inform your next of kin (if necessary - but unlikely as non lovers of bannoffee tend to be sickly milksops with large ears and centre partings.)

I've no intention of reading all this but do people not get annual leave in their jobs? Finish an hour earlier. It would piss me off big time to read all these who work so cannot go moaning if they can't get a final ticket for Dublin on a work night.

It doesn't apply to me next week, but in many cases I couldn't take a days leave, or leave an hour early.

And if that was the case, and I had more loyalty points than you and got a ticket I wouldn't feel .00001% of guilt.
