Its also worth looking at eastern Poland and getting the train or hiring a car, though watch the regs on car hire they may not allow you to take it into Ukraine.

Did similar when we played Groclin, we landed at Kiel, stayed in Berlin the night after. Its a good way to do it if you are a small group. Would imagine there's some good night out on the way.
