Just looked on wizzair.com

It appears they don't fly from Manchester and they don't fly from Liverpool to Kiev.

Only way you can get there is flying from Luton which i cannot be fucked to do.

Can't decide what to do here...

you guys can do Easyjet from Manc to Hamburg and from there
Wizz or Aerosvit (Ukraine's national carrier) to Kiev.

Better wait for 2nd leg vs Aris though ;)

Regarding to this "via Poland" idea of travelling to Kiev...
you can also board a direct all-sleeper train from Warsaw to Kiev. It departs on 3.55pm from Warsaw Central and arrives at 9:13am next day :)
It may be little bit costly, time consuming but TBH that kind of trip is a once-in-a -lifetime experience :)

If you have the time, this is the best way to go. No pissing about driving and boozing as and when. Kip on the train and the jobs a good un. You get a much better feel for places on the train, its slow enough to have decent chats with people and none of the stress of driving.

What prices on the train are we looking at for warsaw to kiev?

My uncle said was like 120 first class for return. Good bed in it though to get head down and that. So if you time it right you're basically not paying for a hotel.
