Klopp odds tumbling

All my sympathies mate. Lost my mum 25 years ago today. Before the days of cellphones. My sisters had to trace me down at Disneyworld as we were on holidays there. Had to hurriedly fly from Florida back to Ireland. Not an easy journey. Still feel it today.
And my sympathies to Klopp also. I am not his biggest fan, but but being able to go to his mum's funeral because of Covid must be awful.
I lost my dad in 2007 and I don’t think anyone ever gets over it entirely. We learn to live with it but not an hour goes by without me thinking about him which some people might find strange. Think he needs out of there as they are turning against him .

Just gonna mirror what other posters have wrote, I've empathy for him loosing his Mum and not being able to be at the funeral.
However, I think he's a fucking bellend of the highest order, if the rumours are true that he's had words with the board because they failed to back him sufficiently in the transfer market highlight what a snidey hipocritical c unt he is. Remember him having the media eating out of his hands saying if he turned into a chequebook manager it would be time for him to walk away, the proceeds to sign the most expensive defender and keeper in football.
He's run the asthmatics into the ground, Stoke on steroids football is dead, his sly comments about our club sum him up perfectly, he's shown little faith in youth (tta and Jones) being the exception, he's got an ageing squad and he threw the towel in with 18 games to play.
The owners won't sack him coz his compensation package would be off the scale and the cult followers would never forgive fsg, they will hope his head is that fucked that he walks, the tears will be a delight to behold.

now if he did go, who would scousers employ next. are there any grade 1, proven managers out there who are available at the moment? Nagelsmann (not even saying he's grade 1) maybe

Do you think he’d be able to do it in champ without a budget or is it only Pep that has to do that?

Speculation is only occurring because Paddy Power et al have got odds on him going and I would expect social media is rife. Poor bloke should have taken compassionate leave for a couple of weeks to grieve properly

what would be the point? He can't travel to Germany. If he steps back from work he can't even travel around the UK due to Covid-19 rules ( See Amanda Holden story this morning ) - sitting around moping at home is surely worse than getting involved in work as a distraction?

Depending on timing I reckon Gerrard is nailed on to be their next manager. If he’s daft enough to take the job

He can’t even attend her funeral.

There’s more to life than shitting on football rivals when there’s something like this that’s happened.

I want him to do badly at Liverpool but I hope he’s alright on a personal level.

RIP to Mrs Klopp and God Bless her x
Great words and now is not the time to dig at Klopp.
