Hiya mate, I've just tried to update my dads Firestick - I've fresh started (and cleared the app data in firestick settings after reading your post about fresh start not working) but after installing the bm build and going to install it - it comes up with a error message and doesn't install??? I've watched the tutorial on page 1 but I can't get it to install? I'm sat with a blank kodi scratching my head. What am I doing wrong mate. I'm on 16.1 kodi as well.

Hey mate, close Kodi and go to where you launch Kodi; instead of launch application, select clear data. This will give you a fresh installation of Kodi, install the build WITHOUT doing a fresh start

For some reason fresh start causes problems on android :)

Still getting the error - is it still at http://bluemoonwizard.site88.net as per tutorial? I've cleared the data and installed from zip but when I try and install it I get the error check log message? Any ideas.

I'd try a full reinstallation of Kodi mate, perhaps even consider switching to spmc :)

I'm trying to reinstall via ES but it won't download the android 'arm' thing when I click on it.

Nah mate, I've uninstalled and reinstalled kodi. I've downloaded the bm build but It still won't install the build. Do I have to do a hard reset at any point

Ah great stuff, just tried a fresh Kodi installation and worked for me fine as well :)

Installing spmc is exactly the same as installing Kodi/xbmc mate, you just use the spmc apk file instead :)

so i don't get rid of xbmc then. Just install spmc from google play then run that from boxes home page?

Install spmc and then yes you can get rid of xbmc as it would just be taking up needles space :)
