Another query which i think i have asked before.. What are the best settings for reducing the possibility of buffering and also when watching tv shows the sound is very low. Is there somewhere to change these settings?

Installed it again now and all seems fine.

Was very odd how it was totally removed. Unless the initial installation hadn't completed properly..?

I'm leaving it on to do all its random updates.

Just a thought, is there any chance of City news on the RSS feed?

You can improve buffering by messing around with the advanced settings.xml, however I'm planning on doing that on the next update

You can also amplify the audio settings during playback by selecting the speaker icon on the top bar of the screen and clicking volume amplification (I think that's what its called)

A city RSS feed would be a good idea indeed, how would everybody feel about that?

Good luck if you give people a tut on cachemembuffersize and the resulting pm's hahahhahahaha.

RSS feeds are the biz mate, robust and for us old skool torrenters, yeah i'm looking at you @Danamy and @aguerrrroooooooooooo :-) RSS was the shit before irc scripts became prevelent (Slash from ScT, the scripting god) But yeah for regular "general net users" it would be good to. It still maintains a professional look and feel.

Hopefully in the next week or so, I'm pretty busy with just regular life at the mo so it's difficult to put a proper timescale on haha :)

Yeah no way am I doing a tutorial on that TC haha! RSS feeds are awesome, and how dare you accuse me of such filth as torrenting! I'm a perfectly law abiding citizen XD

Yes, yes and a bear has never been recorded shitting in the woods, i expect the same ratio of truthfulness to be attributed to your comment about torrenting you filthy pirate. That said i can't doff thine cap enough to you for your efforts bud, maintaining a live update is hard work.

Nah it's not too difficult, to be honest I get far too much credit for what I do anyways haha :)
 
New update being uploaded chaps, 0.3.0 will be available within the next 10 minutes! Bulldog has been replaced with evolve, exodus submenu has been fixed and i have implemented changes in the cachemembuffer sizes and such to hopefully reduce buffering :)

I downloaded the build onto a firestick last night.
Looks very good.
Will I have to do something once this update has been released ?

There was an update released last night mate, what version of the build are you on? 0.2.3 or 0.3.0? If the former, just do exactly what the YouTube video says on the first page of the thread :)

Don't think a tut would be needed. you can amend the settings in the .xml file and have that as your default setup, IIRC lol
edit - I suppose different devices could have different settings as well though but you could create a baseline setting then people could tweak depending on device & connection. I can help with PM's on how to tweak if you need a hand. Just thinking out loud
