It seems a large reason is lack of funds for these sites recently (torrenthound,allmyvideos) and that i think is due to payment processors like paypal refusing to allow them to have accounts. Since last December there has also been a huge trend shift from torrents to kodi streams putting more bw costs on the hosts who have not had money coming in to cover it. They don't get much ad revenue due to the nature of their site and company's being warned not to use them.

This is where the beauty of torrents comes in, distributed it keeps costs spread over the users (isp line rental) and not centralized like these hosting sites who are pretty reliant on donations and ad revenue. So more users and same resources = even lower bitrate on re coded stuff to save hdd space and to keep the server working and not timing out or buffering like mad.
 
anyone had issues with zem and the 365 add on in it today...got the game listings clicked and got the source options....got to 100% when source clicked but zilch

No problems.
Keeping kodi open whilst referring to instructions for installation into kodi is frustrating so your solution is ideal. I am still learning but the basics are now sinking in.

What type of content is being blocked or is it general ?

Dont know if its related but I have been getting a block by microsoft on my intel graphics card for kodi from time to time which gradually increases in frequency. Stop / starting kodi works but it has been a nuisance.
Have found that this microsoft blocking is solved by reinstalling kodi (at least up to now).

I mean the streams themselves mate, Microsoft blocking your graphics card is pretty weird and I've never heard of anything like it to be honest mate :/
 
No one should be having problems watching tv/films on spmc there is enough plugins out there! Sport wise its the live 3pm that the hardest to get a stream that consistent. Personally I always use zem ipbox area just because thats being updated regularly with new links. If all else fails mobdro or a twitter link.

Are the streams of a particular type eg sports or from a particular app ?
I suppose the recent disclosure that Sky viewing of their expensive sports programs are down 19 percent will put further pressure on isps.

Regarding my graphics problem, I get a message to the bottom right telling me the card has blocked kodi and kodi freezes.
A google search found others have had the same and an update of graphics card software is sometimes the solution but one techy forum suggested kodi re-installation and sure enough it now works ok.

I suspect that isp's are being pressured into blocking links mate; they are no different from other internet streams really :)

Many thanks for that info waspish, zem seems particularly good with plenty of football links cannot say that I know which is which yet. Is it a case of trial and error until you find the one you want ?

Perhaps I misunderstand the way how the blocking works but my Spanish isp works extremely well and I only use a vpn with a UK server to look at video on say BBC website or direct to ITV webpages etc.. If the problem becomes chronic, would there be any percentage in using a non UK based server via vpn to view the affected content ?
 
Omg, I'm so impressed with my new firestick, always though the streams would be rubbish quality, but just watched batman vs superman last night 1080 and 5.1 audio, amazing!!
