his track record suggests he will be off in 2-3 seasons, same as most managers i guess. did well at southampton and though not ecstatic it could have been worse. hoping he leaves sammy lee down on the south coast !!

Has to be. Southampton are the better side and, it has to be said, the South Coast is probably a nicer place to live. Better weather anyway. And not too much of that horrible scouse accent to endure. Strange decision by Koeman; thought he'd have bided his time until the Dutch job was abailable.Obviously about money if he does go, as Southampton appear to have the better squad, and better prospects.

The odd thing though was he said he always sees out a contract, which I don't think he's done this time.

Its a step up for him, the expectations at Everton by the club and fans will be a good yard stick to how good he is as a manager. Plus his wages has probably doubled. Once he signs it will be reported that Stones Barkley and Lukaku are going nowhere.
