Kolarov = another wait for a good city leftback

His last 3 games he's been one of our best players.

Was a constant attacking threat against Villa.

How can he have been defensively suspect against Villa when they spent almost the entire game defending? Kolarov was a big part of the reason why we pushed them backwards.

Funny that eh !! ;)

Constant attacking threat?

He never once got to the by-line or in behind the defence to create a clear cut chance. He got forward, offered Barry a square pass, ran onto a few forward passes, and won a few corners

And put in one cross for Dzeko

Thats what really happened. In the real world

I agree with you in the sense that if Bobby trusts in him that I'm willing to for a bit longer, but honestly, he shoots far too often when there's better and easier passes on.

we also have another player who shoots far too often when theres a better pass on...

Can you guess who its.. ??
Have to agree. Just seems he's immune to criticism.

easy tiger! i never said any of your A) B) C) points, just that u dont like him much. You say people are not engaging to what you say yet everytime someone else puts a point across you shoot them down. I AGREE i worry about his lack of pace, if he played against lennon we will be fucked.
But i trust bobby and he seems to like him, so il go with that.

oh and by the way ur point C) is aload of shit. you dont shoot u dont score! he shoots when there is nothing else on! At least he doesnt try walking it in like everyone else!

I agree with you in the sense that if Bobby trusts in him that I'm willing to for a bit longer, but honestly, he shoots far too often when there's better and easier passes on.

I have no problem with him shooting. Hes got a cracking left foot on him. evra shoots, bale shoots whats the problem. if we are 1-0 down with two mins left and tevez and dzeko infront of him and he shoots im gonna be pissed off but he shoots when the space opens up for him. like i say, u dont shoot u dont score. simple.

He doesn't.

Fine, he shoots from distance around 5 times a game, sometimes less, sometimes more.
That's how Villa got their goal.

The issue is not whether he shoots, but whether it was the right decision. He's got a great shot, and as he gets more confident I reckon he will be more successful and we'll learn how to use him more in our attacks.

Carlos?
Find me a post disagreeing with you and I'll take it back.
In fact if you look I think you'll find about 5 posts ago I criticised him for being greedy.

The wait goes on.

It's been a LONG time since we had a top left back at the club.

Bluemoon produces some ridiculous posts, but yesterday was quite sensationally ludicrous. Some people suggesting Kolarov had a good game. Fackin el.

Very poor defensively, and will score 1 out of every 20 of those long range shots he decides to take on every single time he has the ball in the final 3rd.
pigshit.

For the people saying Kolarov has x amount of shots per game, stats for the Season so far;

Thought it was his best game to date.

EXACTLY. SAYS FUCKING EVERYTHING DOESNT IT. His best game but still very poor
What it might tell you is that he could be settling in after getting more minutes on the pitch. Yeah he hasn't been Paolo Maldini, but he hasn't exactly had a chance... so give him one.
I thought that Kolarov and Boateng might have been bad buys, but neither have had uninterrupted spells yet. Yesterday Kolarov showed signs of why we've bought him. He looks as though he has started sussing out his defensive role as well as being our best attacking option yesterday. MOTM.

A couple months ago, there were numerous people furious we weren't taking shots from distance because we were passing it around looking for a better shot. I'm of the opinion that Kolarov has been instructed to take those shots to keep the defense honest.

I wasn't referring to any post you made, I was agreeing with the one samharris made.
