So is every fucking man and his dog if you believe everything you see in the papers. City have deals in place with Real and Barca imo so anyone linked with either who signs for them was never on our radar in the first place.

Deals in place??? What exactly would that deal constitute? Hey City, we can buy anyone we want with or without your permission but we'll let you know before hand? :) The only deal I remember being mentioned was that Real and City agreed to not create bidding wars of mutual targets so as to avoid artificially inflated prices. That being said, I don't think Kolarov was ever a serious City target and besides, according to the ever reliable press, Kolarov has apparently agreed to terms with Real with mention that City's name may have simply been a negotiating tactic:

Is that not what I said? Thats why we had meetings with Real and Barca towards the end of the season and heve done again when the season ended. It's not like it's been kept on the hush, every media outlet reported our supposed talks and what they were about (I'm sure someone can provide the links) and as I said "imo" these deals have worked. City are not stupid, we know that any target both clubs have then it's us that will lose out not Real.

Watching him now am very disapointed hope we don't sign him. He's been skinned 3 times.

I think Bridge looks better than him - not impressed so far - if he can't defend he will fit in well at Madrid.

I dont see wat peoples problem is with bridge tbh , i personally think he is a very good left back uferwise he wudnt have been on chelseas and englands books . he was second to one of the best in the world in ashley cole uferwise hed be first choice at left back for both chelsea and england . He is good both goin forward and can be good at the back . There are better ones around but there isnt much wrong with bridge tbh . This kolarov after watchin him today not worth a bid

I think he is a good left back and dnt have a problem with him but i would be open to a better left back . He's not exceptional but he's good . Hes better attacking than defending but i wudnt call him shite . I think i have referred to bridge as shite one and tht was agenst burnley at home then he was trully wank but i also memba agenst chelsea away when he put ina good performance . he isnt the best around thts for sure but he is good . But where we are goin i understand we do need a better left back , but for the short term bridge is good until we find someone truly good enough to fill that left back spot .

Bridge looks like he is about to have a nervous breakdown every time the ball is at his feet. He's nervous on the ball, rarely looks up, and just hoofs it to no one in particular. His defensive skills are okay but not great and his forward skills, well - anyone got a link to his stats which say something like not a single one of his crosses found a City player last season?
