why is that?

modern day defenders cannot defend, Bridge is a sound 7/10 player. Dont need world beaters in every posistion.

you'd make a good scout. but you wouldnt find many players.

At last count (April), Wayne Bridge had crossed 43 times from the left this season. 0 (literally, ZERO) of said crosses found a City player. Since he can't defend we would hope for goodness at the other end of the pitch but those stats suggest he is far from good.

No point putting words in my mouth, vidic has proved himself on the highest club level tournament, whereas kolarov hasnt.

However if Kolarov is that bad why would the likes of Inter Milan and Real Madrid be interested in signing him? Apart from Ashley Cole I fail to see a better LB in Europe and thats judging him from a full season watching Serie A. Serbia as a whole were shambolic yesterday, it's unfair to cast judgement on one player.
