I think he does have the same problems at left back. Our right full back always gets much more protection.

As I said not a huge fan of Kolarov but you cant dispute that he has very little in front of him in terms of support.

Was aimed more at your notion of Zabaleta benefiting from Kolarov's 'protection'.

Besides, Zabaleta has played at left back on numerous occasions, particularly when Kolarov was injured (or when Mancini just didn't have the confidence to play him), and he's been much more competent than has Kolarov despite being played out of position.

Kolarov has quite simply just been a dreadful signing, and I don't think he'll get the benefit of another season as it's clearly evident he simply hasn't got the required attributes to make it as a fullback in England.

Some of the criticisms of this guy are an absolute joke particularly criticism of his forward play. He always offers an option, puts in more crosses than any other players and consistently creates chances. Yes people come on here criticising his attacking play. Maybe we should criticise the other full back who rarely ventures forward and offers an outlet for the team if we are too be consistent.

Fact is we dont have rubbish players in our squad anymore, were a top four side and thats reflected in the personnel we have to choose from. Every player has different strengths and every player has weaknesses but collectively this squad has got us to fourth in the league and potentially to winning a trophy teams like Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool etc will miss out on.

well you must of supported Manchester City for about 18 months if you think that! They av been far worse left backs at our place..

Kolarov had Valencia in his pocket at Wembley no mean feat looking at him today...Even Baconface thought he was getting no where so he Subbed him.............
