Kolarov

Think we chose the wrong 2 full-backs tonight, needed Micah's and Clichy's pace bombing back and forward. Then again Kolarov scored and didn't really do anything wrong neither did Zaba.

agreed . think richards and clichy should have played , although kolarov scored a great free kick.
onwards and upwards.

I think we got the fullbacks wrong tonight. There were chances for Zabaleta to overlap Silva and be played in, but he just wasn't fast enough.

Kolarov looked "off the boil" I guess, but a few players were so it's unfair to single him out.

1-1 is a fair result. It's a surprising one considering the game was so open, but a draw is fair.

yeah i'd agree with this, i think richards could of done a decent job tonight making overlapping runs,

i just felt kind of let down leaving the stadium, but had kolarov not netted the freekick it would have been a disaster. we seemed wasteful going forward as well.

Kolarov was excellent again today. His only shot that wasn't blocked went in, he supports that side well enough, and he dealt with Lavezzi well whenever he came down his side. Are you sure you're not just seeing what you want to see, hmm?

The problem i have with him is the way we set out we need our full backs need to push on and give us width, it just takes him an eternity to get back.

He's not effective enough for our system, if it was like NFL and bring on a kicker for free kicks then great, but the bad out does the good i'm afraid.

Whhheey frikin heyyyyy. weve drawn and lets balme someone
We're not blaming him for the result, it's just a general opinion of him as a player. I've thought this all last year and I just can't see any signs of him improving.

I guess I'm just one of them supporters who watch the game and not the scoresheet.

Indeed.

I like Zabaleta and Kolarov's an honest pro but I think most people can see that Richards and Clichy are much more rounded full backs and my opinion is that we would have won tonight had those two played.

Boo-boo from Mancini. Let's just hope he learns from it. I can forgive it the once but if he does it again I won't be happy. Zabalata and Kolarov are for Norwich and QPR at home, not Champions League games.

We're not going to play our strongest XI players every week. Kolarov, Clichy, Richards and Zaba will all get plenty of time on the pitch, and plenty of time on the bench.

League result this week is just as important as tonights match.

i have always rated Kolarov thats why hes on my shirt. people always wanna see what they want to see.
I think he is a great asset but i do believe he plays better further up field rather than LB. when he does score they are brilliant goals. He got decent goalS last season and he will this season unless the jusge and jury have him out on here.
And much respect ot him playing with a broken nose for nigh on 50 minutes without a moan or a whinge while those italian fuckers were on the floor milking the slightest thing like peter griffin off family guy. rant over.

WTF is all this whining about the fullbacks?! We could have had width without substitutions by simply having Silva and Nasri switch sides to deliver crosses, Barry holding and Yaya going forward; Dzeko playing deeper than Aguerro.

the whole team looked confused.
