Kolarov

Some ridiculous comment on here.

He started because we wanted to get Dzeko in the team, and into the game.

If you want to be critical, look at the contribution of Edin Dzeko. He gave up, dived and sat on the pitch.

They go hand-in-hand & they're as bad as each other.

They'll both be gone in the summer.
I hope your right. Both Dzeko and Kolarov were pathetic yesterday.

He is a terrible footballer. Absolutely terrible.

No pace, can't tackle, zero positional sense, poor short passing. It is no coincidence that when he plays 90% of the oppositions attacks come down the left.

All he offers is set pieces and the occasional cross. Neither of these are enough to warrant a place on a football pitch for 90 minutes. Most of his glory balls in to Dzeko are poor and overhit making it very difficult for Dzeko to do anything with it.

I also hate that completely predictable cut inside move he does when he's jogging (the chop thing). It's effective if your running at pace down the wing and a defender comes across but it's completely unnecessary when you're jogging.

Set piece specialist - yes.
Footballer - no.

Kolarov was exceptionally poor, looks great in the cup against lesser teams but when faced with anyone who runs at him like coleman yesterday is all over the place, no pace can't beat a player,is a great free kick taker but you can't play him for that reason.Mancini should have taken him off when he was booked as he was afraid to make a challenge after that and we were effectively down to ten me.was one of mancinis signings so he has to stick by him but we won the league with clichy at left back, saying that he has looked all over the shop too.indicative of whole season ,lacking pace all over the pitch

Yet another member of our squad who is far too slow for the level we aspire to. Do we deliberately buy these snails or is the whole squad just not fit enough ? To see Kolarov wrestling Seamus Coleman to the ground yesterday to avoid being beaten after he (Kolarov) was clear favourite to the initial ball was embarrassing and very revealing. Clichy may have faults but he is twenty times as good as Kolarov.

With 1 bad pass?

That was capitalised on because we had 2 at the back when pushing for an equaliser?

It's not like Kolarov gave it away numerous times but had players covering

:-)
