I know he is off at the end of the season but I haven't seen anyone comment on his performance today. He was outstanding. I would say sign him up but the problem is I doubt he will have another performance like today ever again. He would be good to keep around the club as I believe his mentality and leadership is second to none....

Worth 12 months extension as cover if not to start as he's show more desire in 2 or 3 games than some players (nasri) have in a whole season!

Call me a cynic but I think he is trying to put himself in the shop window for one last big payday. Happens a lot with footballers who are coming to the end of their contracts and keen to get the next one.

If he would accept reduced wages and it would have to be drastic.. why not resign him on a 1 year deal? The guy clearly is still class for us and gives his all. Everytime he slots in he gives no trouble for the most part and nastasic has never had problems playing alongside him. Great again tonight. Hope we can find a way to keep François
