Kolo Shout Out

I thought it was a brilliant display by Kolo today. City needs to think carefully if they intend offloading both Kolo and Joleon.

I would keep Kolo because he is a right footed central defender, works well with Nasty, and there is a cloud over Vinnie's injury state.

Agreed.
I actually think Roberto is thinking of moving Vinnie up into DM along side Garcia and buying one of the "best defenders in the world" (TM) to replace Vinnie at the back.

No he's not. Vinnie is already one of the best defenders in the world and wouldn't work in midfield :(

Yeah, not like he has never played there before or anything, or would be an EXCELLENT "slot in" DM with marauding fullbacks or anything!!

Fucking hell, mate, where were you when we signed him?!

My MOTM, solid.

reliable, will always give 100% and he did again.

Really enjoyed himself, made some priceless interceptions and great last ditch tackles.

Shame he's off at the end of the season, can't blame him though.

When Kompany is back he'll probably be warming the bench again, and let's face it no one will get infront of Nastasic at the the moment. A real diamond that kid, makes it look easy.

As has already been said Kolo played very well again but this won't stop him being released. I think as well as wanting to help the team Kolo wants to prove to clubs around Europe he is still at a high level and so can demand the wages his agent is no doubt offering him around for.

never lets us down and well worth his place in the squad

hell on that form he'll keep Vinnie out!!!

I know people are continually saying that he is on his way out, that he is auditioning for other clubs etc, but goodness it must be tempting to keep him. He is in absolutely outstanding form and his one on one battle with Benteke in the first half was worth the price of admission.

If Joleon goes, then I think we should change our minds and definitely keep Kolo. Particularly with the injury cloud over Vinnie.
