They are my cousins pictures taken by his camera so he owns them.
So after you asked his permission, he checked with her that it was OK did he ?
The point i was trying to make was that he has posted photos that the press will get hold of. Therefore it would only be right if he is such a good friend to ask her permission first. He comes up with the answer that his cousin took the pictures so owns the image rights. It's got nothing to do with images rights, it's about doing the decent thing.
If he was so concerned about protecting her, the last thing he would do is post images of her without even asking. It seems he is more concerned about his image on these forums, and proving that his cousin knows her. "pictures have been provided, please keep up" etc...
The thing that concerns me about all of this is the conflicting careers. On the one hand she is a student. Next thing she is a model. It is too convenient that a "model" goes to the press to expose an affair with a footballer. Suddenly that model get a lot of work of the back of it.
So I will reserve judgement of this women until if/when she pops up in a magazine off the back of this. Otherwise if she doesn't make a fast buck, then I will believe what she has said.
