What a fucking dirtbag. Send him to PSG now with a big fucking bow around his neck. They will give us what we paid and he can have his last pay day regardless of the fact he is dogshite

Will they fuck. They may be loaded but they're not mental.
We'd be very lucky to get £10m for him let alone £14m.
£10m would show a profit in the accounts on him so I'd happily take it.

Why on earth cannot clubs puts clauses into players contracts that forbid them from talking to the media? Punishable by severe fines for any transgression.

Players have to understand how damaging this sort of shit is to the club's image and to team morale etc.

Can you imagine the shit you would get at work if you had given an interview to the daily mail openly criticising your employer and colleagues? I'd expect to be sacked to be honest. It beggars belief to me that clubs don't control this sort of thing better than they do.

In our case it's even more important. We are trying to build a worldwide brand and in so doing its vitally important that every aspect of how our club is presented to the public is properly managed. You cannot imagine the value companies like Shell and Apple place on their brand and the effort they put in to protecting and managing it. They simply would not tolerate any employees giving unauthorised interviews with the media.

And yet city seem to allow players to talk to who they like and say what they want? Utter madness.

Well, this has been a problem literally since the day ADUG took over - and yet we haven't managed to stem the flow of players taking their grievances to the press. We can slag the players off all day long - but at some point you have to ask yourself why it is that we are incapable of having a player leave the club on good terms. Maybe there's something we're doing wrong as well...

Certainly worth exploring when you have so many examples of players either whilst they are at the club, or the moment they leave, slagging things off at City...can't all be put down to the bitter ramblings of disgruntled ex employees ...

i still love kolo.... and the rest was tongue n` cheek ! ;) okay eh????

Haven't read the whole thread but I find it funny that he slags Savic for his display at QPR - considering Kolo is fucking hopeless in the air then he would have been highly unlikely to have performed any better against Helguson and Bothroyd.

Kolo Toure has been told he is still a key player at City after hinting he may seek a move next month.

Blues boss Roberto Mancini says that the Ivorian defender, who recently spoke of possibly leaving the club, has not asked for a transfer.

And with Paris St Germain watching the situation, Mancini said: “At the moment he’s never said this to me. He is part of my plans as he has never told me he wanted to leave.

“And I have never said to him ‘Kolo, you can leave’.”

Toure (pictured) lost his place to Joleon Lescott during his six-month ban for testing positive for a banned substance, an offence for which he also received a hefty club fine.

Until his recall for the 5-1 win over Norwich, he had made just three substitute appearances in the Premier League this season, and recently suggested he may have to go in the transfer window to get regular football.

But he returned for the Carling Cup win at Arsenal last week and kept his place on Saturday – now he is in Mancini’s thoughts for tomorrow night’s crunch with Bayern Munich, although Lescott is likely to regain his place.

Meanwhile, Kolo’s brother Yaya Toure has expressed his belief that Mancini is a better man-manager than his old boss Pep Guardiola, of Barcelona.

The midfielder said: “Mancini is closer to his players. He talks more than Guardiola. He calls you into his office and holds a quiet talk with you, listening more to what you’ve got to say.

“For example, it’s not easy to see Nasri or Aguero on the bench in Naples.

“And if you leave Balotelli on the bench, it is not an easy choice either.

“Or even Adam Johnson, who is a very good player. Everyone wants to play.

“Mancini shuffles and handles this perfectly without hurting anyone. On the other hand, Guardiola waits for moments of pressure to get closer to you. It is much of a wrong attitude, I feel.

“Of course, those who play in Barcelona today will not say anything, but ask those who are gone like Zlatan Ibrahimovic.”

City have denied reports that they have given AC Milan permission to speak to their AWOL striker Carlos Tevez.

The Blues have allowed Tevez’s representatives to seek an exit route from the club in next month’s transfer window, but no club has yet come up with a proposal for the player.

AC Milan have not contacted City, but do want Tevez on loan – something which the Blues will refuse to entertain.

It's not just the Mail though, every paper has run this story today with the exact same direct quotes.

Whatever you think of him, to say that the club discriminates against African players is fucking moronic.

Of course there is, too fuckin right Markie, glad someone had the sense to point this out. Of course the English press would twist the original article to suit their agenda, when you gonna learn Blues- don't be so gullible.

I believe in Kolo Toure. He will come back to form, ffs why would he want to leave?!!

ditto

A famous baconface quote "No player is bigger than the club." Well, many of our players think they are. That's the difference in a nutshell.

he made a point about the ACON.... and tbf he s right.... chelsea lost lots of key players over the years...and their rivals all picked up on this. african players were the driving force in many a top team across europe, now this ACON (which is as always a ridiculous tourny`-it should be every four years like the euros) is preventing african players being sought after by top clubs-it is a hindrance!

on top of this i hate reading blues slating our own players when its the best i ve ever seen them play. forget about money... our team is fantastic and a few on here saying savo or such and such should go is ridiculous as quoting a shit newspaper!!!!!

the media is our enemy..... trying to turn us on ourselves!!! our club need be smarter than the media. with that our fans too!
