look i wouldn't say no to Bruno Alves for example [not even sure i've seen him play as i generally boycott the wankers league] but i'd imagine he's the kinda top European centre half we'd love, but Lescott is a premium for his various key attributes, English int., can play left back /left footed and young... oh and f^ck up one of our rivals too!! - - oh shit this is a Toure thread, love 'im i would

Bruno Alves is the man for us, no doubt. But just to point out, Lescott is about 27, he isn't young.

Bruno Alves is the man for us, no doubt. But just to point out, Lescott is about 27, he isn't young.

Alves and Chiellini are the two best CB's in the world that would even consider moving clubs right now. Alves is the top kind of English CB that we need, so gritty, tough and solid. Nothing gets past him. He is most certainly a rich man's Lescott with even more attributes. Chiellini on the other hand is the complete CB, the future captain of the Azzurri and now is the time to buy him, before Juve become a world force again.
