Kolo Toure [Merged]

I cant comment on that, but I can say there was nothing that worried us. A player will always take a while to get back to full fitness after having something like Malaria. Were confident fitness can be gained with no problems.

Stu forgive my ignorance, but i am assuming you are in a position where providing this info comes with certain risks? Given that club officials check this site!

Are you confident you have covered your tracks? I hope so as your info is seems solid and not the usual i know the security gaurd at carrington blarney.

I forgot Toure had malaria...good move to sign him by hughes, with Toure alongside richards (swine flu) at the back we would have a pairing no strikeforce would want to get close to or be marked when they are coming up for corners lol.

Seriously though id be very happy with Toure for £15m, i think he would be a great buy, plus it further damages Arsenal.

The Times said we are in talks with Arsenal. Is that the latest at the moment?

How do you know this?

They have admitted it. Plus (said this before) I did the tour recently and was told openly by the staff member doing it that City now contibute to this site???? How true I dont know but her words were "Ric now does some work for City and the Bluemoon site is part of the club officially now. You should all check it out" fair play to Ric if true. Would explain why certain threads vanish though, and Ric has mentioned before City have asked for things to be removed.

At one of the supporters branch meetings attended by Cook he stated if anyone wanted to see the new kit pre release they could see it on Bluemoon!

In addition, various post pulled after club intervention! Very Big Brother!

Just slightly off topic here. I would have created a new topic but I haven't made enough posts to start one.

Anyway, I picked this one up before. It's a statement from Gael Clichey explaining that he didn't mean Adebayor when it was claimed he said he'd only move to us for the money. His statement went as such:

Emmanuel Adebayor's desire to sign for Manchester City was not made with money solely in mind, according to Arsenal defender Gael Clichy, who has moved to clarify a story that arose in the English media last weekend which suggested the contrary.

“I felt really bad about this,” Clichy informed the club's official website. “I am not a player who would talk like this; say a name and talk this way about a friend. I asked the newspaper not to mention any names and unfortunately they did.

“If you read the article you will see that I am not saying any names – 'Ade' or anyone else. That is not the way to do it. If I need to say something I will go out and say it myself.

“Saying big names in a big article like this when I did not say anything, I think it is wrong. I just wanted to clarify this.

“Only Ade knows why he went and we have to live with this. He was a good player for us but now he is gone and I don’t want to talk about him anymore.

"But good luck to him and I will see him on the pitch later this season!”

By the sound of it 'Gail' aint messin' with our Ade is he?

Oh for God's sake, swp played right way up to the day he left for Cheslki.
