How can he fail to improve a squad that finished 9th and let so many goals in?

Quite easily (and we finished 10th and let so many goals in too). If it goes through I hope he is a success, but it's a bit premature to hail this one as missing piece of the puzzle, as we could have as many problems with Toure in the side as we had last season in my view.

But Arsenals defensive record is far far superior to ours over the time he has been there and he has been a key component in that, although i do agree he alone is not the answer we crave i think he would be a terrific addition to the squad.

We should stick in a bid for Gallas to be fair, world class on his day. Now that would be a top class signing.

TOURÉ is not the final piece of the jigsaw. but he is a versatile, pacey, strong defender, with a wealth of PL experience and a great attitude.

Not sure how many games, I recall him spending a decent stint there early in the season.

Was after him and Gallas had fallen out.

I agree over the years he has, although I've long considered the Arsenal defence a bit of a weakness. And a lot has to do with the fact that no fuckers can get the ball off Arsenals midfield to get to their defence, whereas ours ...

My only reservation with Toure is that he will be off for afican cup of nations, which depending on who we sign may become an issue.

I agree over the years he has, although I've long considered the Arsenal defence a bit of a weakness. And a lot has to do with the fact that no fuckers can get the ball off Arsenals midfield to get to their defence, whereas ours ...

Actually, he and gallas are a poor partnership. they lack the height neccesary to defend crosses properly, and antagonise each other. I've always been on Touré's side though, because gallas has shown a very poor attitude on several occasions.

Nope, I just know my football, have a good friend who's an Arsenal fan and he'd agree, go to Arsenal-Mania and you'll find the exact same opinion as me. My knowledge of European football is top class, but hey, just keep taking what you read in The Sun as Gospel won't you...

Would rather bring back danny mills then sign gallas he causes problem everywhere he goes!
