even if the figure is £16 million i'd take that considering how the market is especially cuz of who we are! on the lescott transfer there is talk of in excess of £25mil, now weather lescott is better than toure is a good debate, but he's not £10 million pounds better thats for sure! if we think of terry reportedley costing £40mil, this is good business on our part. and this transfer could help the lescott deal, it does put a more realistic slant on what a good premiership defender should cost.

I agree - also even if money was an issue we have plenty more available due to not recruiting John Terry

He's explained his past failed "predictions". He, along with other City employees were caught in a "sting operation" (I love the way that sounds and I might be making it seem more glamorous than it is!!). The club wanted to see if they had any leaks, they fed dodgy info to the staff and waited. Of course this info found it's way into the press and City gave the staff a proper bollocking. Now they keep everything very closely guarded, but Stu has been allowed (within reason) to provide us with medical information.

Obviously you can chose to believe him or not, it's a free World, but if you don't believe him then kindly mark his posts as "ignore" rather than calling for him to be banned, which isn't going to happen.

The talk of a fee "in excess" of £25m for Lescott is undoubtedly absolute bolloks. Tevez and Adebayor cost £25m, Lescott isn't even in the same ballpark as those two when it comes to value.

Im not after "ITK" status, and you dont have to even read my posts, dont get so uptight my friend, I have learnt not to get angry with people who post things about other people. Everything I post is now from me and nobody else. If you dont like what I post thats fine, but dont start making comments as I can asure you I am not "full of shit".

Well I can't really explain that one, I didnt know I was being closely monitored.......Spelling has never been a strong point, im a sports proffesional, playing football and most other sports is my hoby not writing books....

I was extremely cynical at the time because you said Adebayor had not had a medical, in flat contradiction of several stories in the press. Turns out, you were right, I was wrong.
