This article aside we've been linked with him since christmas. He's a def improvement on what we have but I've also heard he's not been quite the same since he got maleria. I think there's a reason Arsenal are buying new CB's, they had defensive problems last season like us. My gooner mate tells me he doesn't get on with Gallas (who does?!) and this is one of the reasons he wants to leave. I think a pairing of Toure and Lescott would be excellent, very skillful, but maybe a little lightweight.
I reckon he's our plan B, if we fail to sign JT.
Lets hope that like Ade, a new start at a new club will give him confidence and his form will improve. Like Ade my gooner mate tell me when he's on form he's unstoppable, when he's not, bit of a liability.

I don't think Arsenal would sell us Toure. They've just sold us Adebayor so why would they want to sell us another one of their best players, the fans would not be happy about it. It could weaken their squad quite a bit. If we bought Toure as well, then there would be a very good chance we could knock them out of the top four, and that would be a bad scenario for Arsenal, so that's another reason why I don't think they would sell him to us. I think they would be most likely to sell him to a foreign side that is already near the top, like Juventus or Bayern for example. They may also now feel that they don't need to sell anybody, after selling Adebayor.

Well like I said being partnered with Gallas is a big part of that apparently, a problem that would end on joining City. But who knows what dictates his form though?!

To be quite frank, i don't like the whole Malaria stuff about Toure... I heard he has really dropped in form ever since he contracted it...

Think the only reason he dropped form was cos the malaria caused him to miss games. He strikes me as a player who needs regular football to find his rythm if you know what I mean.

KT was not present with his team mates at a dinner after the Barnet game. No idea if that is significant but the friend of a friend who passed it on must have thought it was.
