kolo's performance

he's hardly going to look sharp with next to no games

at least he puts a shift in

I think people are being a bit harsh, I thought he was left hopelessly exposed by a poor all round Team performance and Milner in particular being too far away from him.

Kolo and kolorov in the same team scares me

Mancini had no choice with Lescott carrying a knock and Clichy not available, which I think is Mancini's point. I also think he'd like to see someone who can play the Barry role in Barry's absence other than Yaya, who is wasted there. I'm pretty sure Mancini has made these points privately, but still he awaits the arrivals.

Rodwell ?

Milner could have attempted the Barry role with Zab and Kolarov at full back.Yesterdays formation and player choice was very wrong.

As usual, nowhere near as bad as is being made out on here. There was a moment where he dwelt on the ball for a second or two too long and almost got dispossessed in a dangerous area but he recovered well. Other than that I think he was okay and made a few vital clearances in and around the box. His pace was also useful against Sterling in a couple of footraces between the two. Good job it wasn't him that almost scored an own goal from the Gerrard cross else he would be getting it worse than he already does even when he has a good game. Certainly better to see him starting ahead of Savic.

Yeah, it's amazing how many people here don't look beyond what's immediately happening. Kolo covered a load of ground yesterday and never caused us to concede despite Milner having no positional discipline whatsoever.

Suddenly I get the interest in Maicon.

I thought Toure had a solid game and I don't see how people can say he is overweight, he is pretty quick for a CB. Never got left for dead by Sterling.

And Sterling from my initial impressions seems to have serious speed.
