Silva is very good but was one of the worst players in Kiev
You base an ENTIRE season on one performance?

He's the best in the world at what he does.

I'd be gutted if these players left:
Hart
Kompany
Richards
de Jong
Silva
and disappointed but not gutted if Tevez left (I just lost faith in him with the transfer request)
oh and I don't want to see Zabaleta leaving this club, I really like him.

I honestly couldn't give a monkeys if anyone else left. Which spells out to me that they aren't proper high class, don't show they care, don't work hard for the club. Yes some are developing players but on the whole it shows we are a good few transfer windows and we need a bit longer to bring through some local talent before we have a team to be really excited about, believe in and be proud of.

I'm in complete agreement,in the trenches i'd want those guys(i think Dzeko is also of a similar mould)

The above players, while all having differing levels of footballing ability, all possess the same vital ingredient - Enthusiasm.

Without it a player will never be at his best, and disappointingly, too many of our squad do not have that attribute in any great measure - It's what separates the men from the boys and what makes a winner.

Is it an individual failing,a management one or a combination of both?

Hart, Richards, Zabaleta, Kompany, Lescott, Barry, Yaya, Silva, Tevez, Balotelli, Johnson are all as good or better than De Jong. I just don't buy how effective he is at breaking up plays when Barry has more tackles, won more headers and committed more fouls in the league so far.

Why? I'd like to have a debate with you. :)

Yes i know that, but at this time of the season im not slating anyone as they need to play as a team and get us to the end with objectives complete

At the end of the season i will vent my fury at the people i feel have let us down

Barca, United and many other top clubs have full squads of 25 players that show this level of commitment, drive, determination, effort.

Regardless of whether some of United's players aren't as talented as some of ours, this is the reason why the Rags say they wouldn't swap any of their players with ours apart from those in my list. They are players I get compliments about from Rag fans, nobody else.
