Kompany calls on Premier League clubs to drop ticket prices

There are about 5000 matchday tickets all dotted around the ground but the majority are at the top of the 3rd tiers either side, any reduction in price would be great, but it would be the same people buying them ie me. We 5000 spread around the ground won't improve atmosphere.
If prices of s/c are made too cheap, whatever that means, you will get more fans that can't attend all he games buying them and missing a lot of games, again ie me. Tomorrows game with Burnley is cheap, let's see if the atmosphere on our side is better.
There may well be a price argument but I don't think it's linked to atmosphere , Germany is often quoted but is it cheapness or safe standing and drums that creates their better atmosphere ?
Drums destroy the atmosphere for me, just mind numbing

Those £299 season tickets sold out virtually instantly though and are a small section of the overall stadium if I recall.

When I got my season ticket in tier 3 south stand that’s the ticket I initially wanted, but they sold out in rapid time and instead had to get the £600 season ticket.
You get first chance to relocate in the summer though, and if you have a £600 s/c then the '£20 and I'd be there every week.' bit is nonsense.

I’m not the blue who mentioned that quote, but I agree with you.

I attend only about 5 games a season due to ticket prices, if tickets were £20 ish I would attend treble the number if not more. (Simple) Haven't got a season ticket due to work and different kick off times.
