Such a shame. He could become our Paul McGrath, don't train in the week, to stay fit for the weekend and still be brilliant.
It is frustrating to be honest,but the look on Vinny's face every time he goes off,tells me there is nobody more frustrated than him,he looks wounded every single time.

As good as he's been for us, he's no good on treatment table and these niggling injuries have now become almost permanent. Time to look for his replacement, but I would think that Pep is already on the lookout.
No. No he can't. He physically occupies space but he'll never be a central defender while he's got a crack in his arse.

Really sad for Vinny...put everything into getting back to full fitness and gives his all when he's on the pitch...the problem for Pep is, he's not on the pitch very often. I think Pep wanted to give him every chance to show that he could be counted on to be a big part of the squad but sadly, it's still injury, after injury that is holding him back...The way this season is going for Vinny, I can see CB replacement being added to the shopping list next summer. Would love to see Vinny be a blue for life but get the feeling he could help us more as a member of the coaching staff, than on the field.....Hope he heals fast and is back soon but the sad reality is, he can no longer be counted on.
