Kompany red card and appeal SUCCESSFUL

Just got in the door from work and I'm delighted at the news. Have to say; I'm surprised though. Not because the the tackle was worthy of a red card (it obviously wasn't); moreso the fact that the FA overturned it because that is, in effect, undermining the ref.

Give the twat hell, horrible ****

He really is an odious toad
Not got time to read back thru posts, whats the tw** done now

He's crying on twitter about kompanys red being rescinded. Really getting himself in a tizzy to anyone who will listen. Custis and le tissier have tried to put the moron straight but he's having none of it

Not read through the last few pages but does this mean Mike Dean admitted he got it wrong? Fair play to him if that's the case.

Not so as MD did say he got it wrong.

Saying that this proves there is no agenda is a bit weak. There is irrefutable video evidence that Kompany was wrongly sent off, for them to uphold it would have been beyond a joke, they had no choice.

If this is not over turned we might as well give up.

Kompany is not two footed, his leading foot is pointed down, he's got the ball, the opposing player in nowhere near the ball, and has already slipped (right foot).

To be fair to Dean he sees it once, and the angle he saw looks bad, but I'm sure he will have seen this picture since, and it will be over turned. Its not even a foul, and definitely not a booking.

If not over turned with this picture, defending in football is f**ked, its that simple.

Agree Totally but we all know they wont overturn it no chance sadly :(
Don't think they had any option once this picture had done the rounds, it shows an almost perfect tackle, and that the opponent was nowhere near the ball. Simple decision with this evidence.

Glad to see common sense prevails.

Gone now, but wonder what score game at Arsenal would have finished if Kompany had not been sent off. We were in total control. Arsenal would have tired even more in the last 15 minutes.

Fuck you brazil & irani both said was a def red , in fact irani said it was a leg breaker , Andy Gray said it wasn't even a foul
Can't wait to what that pair of twats have to say in the morning
Leg breaker he should stick to cricket the Leigh twat

Well done city & roberto

Some blues fans are probably hiding in shame after Sundays "inquest" into finding Vincent guilty in advance.
One word to you. BOLLOCKS.
A pleasant surprise to see justice done.
Call me a cynic but tomorrow the FA is celebrating it's 150th anniversary.
I wonder if this had any influence on this high profile decison?
