5.players underperformed?

Quite a few. Aguero and Tevez lost whatever synergy they had, neither scoring many goals. Nasri has been a massive letdown, his actions in the wall against the scum cost us 3 points. Kompany and Yaya haven't been nearly as sharp as last season.

I think Kompany looked awful the first two months of this season. I think he has steadily improved since, I actually think before he got in jured he was back to last seasons form. However you are correct in the fact that when he has missed games we seem to have a couple of players that have replaced him with little or no bother.
Suarez playing us scares the shit out of me though.

Lescott back to top form so hopefully we can cope with him, Garcia and Nasy until Vinny is back.
Vinny is back to his form of the last couple of seasons after a slow start (by his high standards) to the season.

The car salesman will be back from Africa in a couple of weeks so we will have strength in depth at CB

Third calf injury this season. Not good at all - in fact, he's starting to look injury prone. Still we have Garcia, Nastastic & Lescott to fill in.
