I didn't word it well it's been a long sleepless night. What I meant was West Ham can't just fob off the police and RSPCA by saying, "We'll deal with it internally." The Met have said they won't investigate it so he may escape a criminal prosecution.

To be serious, for a second, there’s an actual crime being committed that Zouma could be prosecuted for. I love cats and hope he gets prosecuted for what he has done. I’m not sure he needs cancelling as a footballer because of it.

The Met Police have just issued a statement saying they have reviewed the footage and will NOT be investigating - really does anyone think that the Met these days is a credible organisation?

RSPCA can take out a private civil action against him - they have a success rate in the 90 percents - and he needs to be barred from owning any animal as long as he is resident in the UK
