I predicted Nasty would have a wobble this season a few weeks ago and am sorry to say he is doing so thus far.

He will be back better than ever when he sees it through. He's made of stern stuff.

Easy forgotten that he's very young and has plenty to learn.

He is a promising young player. We don't yet know how good he will be. He isn't even in the top 20 of young defenders I've seen over the years though.

Give us your list NK. ?

Come on Nev, I'm intrigued.......

Ouch. Doesn't look intentional though.

If he is any good, I don't think there is any fault in buying him for Bebe million.

That's unfortunate that, it's actually a very good tackle, one footed, on the ground, wins the ball, it's just bad luck that the other fellas foot gets caught under his leg.

From Love city's excellent blog.........

City have lodged an £11m offer for St Etienne central defender Kurt Zouma in the last fortnight.

We have recently been linked with a number of defenders, most notably, Porto’s pair of Eliaquim Mangala and Nicolas Otamendi.

But talks with Zouma’s club and his camp are now well underway and City are hoping a deal can be thrashed out before Christmas.

AC Milan have also registered an interest in the powerful 19-year-old, but the starlet has quickly indicated a preference to playing his football in England.

It all sounds very positive at this stage, although the only black mark against Zouma is his current ten-game ban for a leg-breaking challenge on Sochaux midfielder Thomas Guerbert last week.

Ironically, it would mean Zouma can’t play again until the January window closes.

Zouma’s agents have rocked City with personal demands of £100,000 a week, but it’s understood a compromise package has already been submitted.

hes unlucky to get a 10 match ban for that, yes its a bad tackle and a red card (I think), but I don't think the length of a ban should be determined by the extent of the injury to the other player - then its just down to pot luck.

As for LC's exclusive, where does he keep getting these exclusives from nowadays? There was a Joe Hart rumour the other week stating he wants to leave. The best thing about LC/City_Watch twitter account over the last couple of years is knowing that 100% of what he has tweeted/reported is fact (any rumours are acknowledged by giving the name of the source), which makes a refreshing change to many football news accounts. But thats now 2 exclusives that have come from his end, which I am sceptical about. How does he know for certain a bid has been made? If he continues to use his new blog to put these kind of unsubstantiated rumours on then I can see City_Watch's credibility being harmed, which would be a shame because he's built up an amazing fan base over the last couple of years.
